We may also collect information about how you use the app, your device information, and transaction details to improve service quality and provide better user experiences.

How do you get my consent?

When you provide your personal information to complete a transaction, create a booking, or request a ride, we consider that as consent for using your information for that specific purpose.
For secondary purposes, such as marketing or promotional messages, we will explicitly ask for your consent, and you will have the option to accept or decline at that time.

How do I withdraw my consent?

If you withdraw consent, we will stop processing your data for that purpose and, upon request, delete your account and associated personal data, unless we are legally required to retain it.

If you create an account with Eto Rides, you have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.

You can delete your account in one of the following ways:

• In-app: Navigate to the Profile or Settings section and select the "Delete My Account" option.

Upon receiving a valid request, we will delete your account and associated data within a reasonable timeframe, unless retention is required by law (such as for fraud prevention or regulatory compliance).

 

SECTION 12: CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our services are primarily intended for adults. However, certain features may apply to rides involving children (e.g., fare waivers for children under 3 years). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child without verifiable parental consent, we will take appropriate steps to delete such data.

SECTION 13: DEVICE PERMISSIONS

We may request access to certain device permissions to provide core functionality of the Eto Rides app. Specifically, we request access to your device’s photo library to allow you to upload documents necessary for verification, such as your profile photo, Aadhaar, PAN, driver’s license, RC, and bank passbook. This permission is used strictly for onboarding and document verification purposes, and not for any unrelated functionality.You will be prompted to grant this access when required, and you may choose to allow or deny it. Denying access may limit your ability to complete profile verification.
